This project was tailored for an exhibition space in the Eagle Performing Arts Center. The center is a true community site with a variety of age groups and uses- everyone was invited to participate in the Community Garden. The invite read as follows:
"Help spring arrive by cutting, coloring, taping, and tying leaves to barren trees and planting handmade flowers in empty flower beds! Over the course of May, the indoor Community Garden will come to life with your help. Contribute on your owninspiration and instructions will be on the potting benchor you can join artist Amanda Hamilton for open workshops!"
Three Open Workshops were held during the month of May.
The garden filled incredibly quickly. It was a pleasure to see the creativity and ingenuity of the unique flowers, bugs, butterflies, and leaves. A communal effort truly helped the garden grow.
